The "Classiques" Series: A Creation by Christophe Ducoin
The Classiques series brings together a collection of drawings on paper by Christophe Ducoin, reflecting a more deliberate and meditative approach than series such as Fast and Furious. Here, composition, line, and symbolism take center stage.
Inspired by art history, mythology, and scenes from everyday life, these drawings reveal a more timeless facet of the artist's work. The paper becomes a space for dialogue between tradition and contemporary interpretation.
Based in Toulouse, Christophe Ducoin (also known as El Chuzpo) develops a personal graphic language through this series, where the human figure remains at the heart of the work, navigating between figuration, allegory, and poetic abstraction.
Between Tradition and Graphic Freedom
